About Bronco Electric, Inc. In 1982 Randy Smith started the company, known as Bronco Electric Company, as a sole proprietorship. His primary place of business was his home and garage. Early revenues were approximately $50,000.00 Randy's experience as field engineer for NCR Corp. specializing in data communications and large scale main frame computers and as the Director of Management Information Systems for the Kern Community College District with responsibilities for design and implementation of all computer and communication systems has allowed Bronco Electric Inc. to serve the electrical construction industry as well as the data, communication and computer industry. In 1990, Bret Smith joined his father with full efforts in the business after graduating with a degree in Business Administration from Cal State University Bakersfield. During 1990 the company started to expand its customer base and pursue larger and more complex projects in both public and private sectors. While building the construction aspect of the company, Bronco Electric Inc. also started to move into the service and maintenance areas. In 1993 the company became a corporation known as Bronco Electric, Inc.

Ever expanding to meet the needs of our construction, communication and service customers we have increased our sales volume past the multi million dollar mark, with growth projections for the upcoming years to be 15 to 25%. A Totally integrated computerized cost accounting system expedites job control information, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reports, estimation and all necessary state and federal reports. We also have State of the Art CAD system to allow more detailed and accurate plans for construction. Received safety award from State Fund Insurance for the lowest Loss Ratio in our Division.
